1.1- Scope This policy applies to purchases made on PaintSmart via the website (paintsmart.in) and covers returns, exchanges and refunds where applicable.
1.2-Eligibility for Return / Exchange
Returns/exchanges are accepted within 7-10 business days from the date of delivery (you may choose e.g. 10 or 14 days as you prefer).
Items must be unused, unopened, in original condition and packaging, and include all accessories / documentation.
Items damaged in transit or defective must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photo evidence.
Customised orders (e.g., special colours/quantities made to order) may not be eligible for return unless defective.
1.3-Non-returnable Items
Opened/used paint cans /Shades mismatch due to screen display /Used rollers/brushes (once the seal is broken) unless they are damaged or defective.
Items

Items affected by improper use / misuse/Custom colour mixing/Tinting machine colours (e.g., you painted and then realised you didn’t like the colour).
Clearance/sale items marked as “final sale” – you may choose to specify if any such category exists.
1.4-Return / Exchange Process
Contact our customer service at [7867010024] within the specified period stating your order number, reason for return/exchange, and if applicable photos of damage/defect.
We will evaluate and if approved, provide return instructions (e.g., ship back via courier or specify pick-up).
Return shipping costs:
In case of damage/defect or wrong item shipped by PaintSmart, we cover return shipping.
For buyer-initiated returns (change of mind) the buyer pays return shipping unless otherwise stated.
Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will process the exchange or refund.
1.5-Refunds
Refunds will be credited via the original payment method within 7-10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.
Refund amount will exclude original shipping cost (if shipping was charged) unless the return is due to our error.
If you choose to exchange, we will dispatch the replacement once the original item is approved for return otherwise it’s not considered for refund.
1.6-Partial Refunds / Restocking Fees
We may deduct for items damaged by the customer, missing accessories, or items not in original condition there is a chance to reduce your original price.
A restocking fee (for example 10 %) may be applied for buyer-initiated returns of large volume/pack sizes – specify if you plan to.
1.7-Late Returns
Returns received after the return window (7-10 business days) will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer (at customer’s cost) or disposed of at customer’s cost.
1.8-Cancellation before dispatch
If you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, contact us as soon as possible. (if you want to cancellation the order, that will be dispatch it has been consider as that comes under replace option only not comes under refund.
If cancellation is accepted pre-dispatch, full refund will be made less any bank/transaction charges.
If cancellation request is after dispatch, then return policy above applies once you receive the item.
2. Shipping & Delivery Policy
2.1-Delivery Area
We deliver across tamilNadu. For some remote or restricted areas delivery may take longer or additional charges may apply (if you choose to restrict to certain districts, specify) so kindly includes you pin code properly without error.
2.2-Processing Time
Orders are processed within 1 – 2 business days (excluding Sundays and public holidays) after payment confirmation. (sometimes the processing time will take delay due to some reason kindly bare that delay.
Custom or large-volume orders (e.g., special colours, large drums) may take 7-10 business days
2.3-Delivery Time
Standard delivery: 3 – 7 business days from dispatch for major metro cities.
For Tamil Nadu (e.g., Madurai), typically 2 – 5 business days.
If shipping to remote/rural regions, delivery may take 7 – 14 business days.
During peak seasons (sales, festival, festival promotions) delivery may take bit longer so kindly contact us once you didn’t receive your order after 14 business days.
2.4-Shipping Charges
Free standard shipping on orders above ₹5,000 within TamilNadu.
For orders below threshold / heavy volume (large litres) additional shipping charge may apply.
2.5-Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping/tracking number via email/SMS.
For any delay beyond the stated delivery window, please contact our customer service to get an instant solution for that order.
2.6-Risk & Title
Title and risk of loss/damage for goods pass to the customer once we hand over to courier service or at dispatch point.
If you notice any damage or shortage on delivery, please sign note “damaged/shortage noted” and inform us within 48 hours.
2.7-Failed Delivery / Return to Sender
If delivery fails due to incorrect address, refusal, or inability to contact, and the shipment is returned to us, we will notify the customer.
Additional shipping charges will apply for reshipment.
If the customer fails to accept or arrange reshipment within 14 days, we reserve the right to cancel order and apply cancellation or restocking fees.

3.2-Definitions
“Buyer” or “You” means the person purchasing goods via the Site.

“Goods” means paints, accessories, Painting tools and other products listed on the Site.
3.3-Order Acceptance & Contract
Placing an order means you make an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or reject any order for any reason (including availability, errors in pricing or product description) at our sole discretion.
A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email (or otherwise accept the order).
All descriptions, specifications, and prices are subject to change without notice.
3.4-Pricing & Payment
Prices shown on the site are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable GST unless otherwise stated.
Shipping, handling and additional charges (if any) will be shown at checkout.
Payment must be made via the available methods (credit/debit/UPI/bank transfer) and cleared before dispatch.
In case of failed payment/refusal of payment method we may cancel the order.
3.5-GST Invoice Information
All orders placed on Paintsmart include a GST-compliant invoice The invoice will contain product details, HSN codes, GST percentage, and tax breakup as per government regulations.
Business / GST Registered Buyers If you are purchasing on behalf of a business and need a GST Input Tax Credit (ITC), you may enter your Business Name and GSTIN during checkout or request a revised GST invoice by contacting us.
To receive a GST Invoice with your GSTIN, buyers must provide

Important: We cannot update or add GSTIN once the invoice has been generated. Please ensure GST details are correctly provided at checkout.
Printing & Access Your invoice will be emailed automatically once the order is confirmed. You can also download it anytime by contacting customer support.
3.6-Product Information
We endeavour to display product details, images and descriptions accurately. However, we do not guarantee colour accuracy (paint colour may vary due to screen/display differences).
For bulk or professional orders, please check specifications, suitability and compatibility.
In the event of manufacturing defects, the warranty/claims should be directed to the respective brand/manufacturer; we assist where possible but are not liable for manufacturer’s coverage beyond our sale.
3.7-Delivery & Risk
Details as per the Shipping & Delivery Policy above.
You must inspect goods promptly on receipt and report any damage/shortage within 48 hours.
After that period, we are under no obligation for claims for damage caused during transit/unreported.

In case of payment failure, the amount (if debited) will be automatically refunded as per the payment gateway’s refund cycle, usually within 3–7 business days.
